I'm so out of the loop. I never watch the news or read the paper or anything. None of my friends talk about politics at school either. So basically, I don't know what the president has been up to lately. I also banned my parents from talking about politics around me because they always end up arguing so if I intend to know what's going on I suppose I should start watching the news or something. Honestly though, I don't think I really need to know what he's doing. Sorry if that sounds odd, but I mean, it doesn't make a difference either way to me. I don't intend to start a protest or anything even if he does something I can't stand and if he does stuff I like I'm not going to do anything either. I'm okay with not following it now. We're all only watching so closely because he's new. Then it will die down until for a couple of years and then we'll all be watching closely again when the term starts drawing to a close. Well, I am lucky that I wont really have to worry to much about the presidents until I am old enough to vote for them....that is in a few years, so until then...I wait...

Actually, technically speaking, it can only hold another billion people before there's world-wide issues with food, water, disease, etc. It may seem like a lot of people, but people are rapidly breeding, so that'll probably come along in another 100ish years. In another 100ish years from now we'll have run out of natural resources(oil) and then we won't have the industries making the medications that keep them alive in the first place and then we won't be able to keep them alive anyways. That's enough of a disaster for me. <.< ~~~~~~~~~~ Well, I am lucky that I wont really have to worry to much about the presidents until I am old enough to vote for them....that is in a few years, so until then...I wait... Actually, I've learned otherwise. Just because you aren't old enough to vote doesn't mean you should both A) Keep updated on political business and B) get involved. You'd be surprised how much impact somebody under 18 can make in the political world.

I may or may not be able to make a difference, but honestly, it would take a lot for me to want to. Sure in 4 years I'll vote, be it for Obama again or someone else, and stuff, but I'm not going to go start riots in the street just because Mr. President is giving bailouts.

Well, I don't know about you, but I've already agreed to get involved in my local government. Sure, I don't think I could could sway a Washington vote, but I can try to make it easier for my peoples in my state.
And no, Echo, it's not far away if you think about it... It feels like it was only yesterday I was 10, so... Yeah. And no, I don't plan on doing the riot thing, but I am going to one of the Boston Tea Parties! That'll be interesting ^^

Ooh! lol I like tea.... If only we really had a tea party. No, anyway... I don't know. I want to in some ways, but in others... it seems kind of stupid to me...

I don't even like tea. Apparently, after the boston tea party, most Americans began to drink chocolate (which was a drink at the time), to "rebel" against England. I think I learned that on the food channel. Probably Good Eats.

Well, the CURRENT Boston Tea party is a nation-wide protest against the current tax policies that Obama's helping along. But there's like 1000 of them that are going to be happening around the country so it's like... Big.

Really? Well, I've already explained what it is. There's a website and all!(I think it's bostonteaparty.com or something, Idk) I'm not too worried about it; my parents are making me go is all. =/

I'd consider going, but social situations frighten me greatly.

Crowds make me slightly uncomfortable... I always get this feeling of impending doom when I see large crowds. They make my sister nervous as hell, though; though she really wants to be one of those people carrying a sign and walking in circles(just so she can carry the sign and walk in circles), lol.
I think it's more a protest, not a social thingy. It's just called Boston Tea Party because of the historical reference.

I am having so much trouble deciding whether I still support Obama or not. I mean, he sure sounds good in the news, but some of the things he does lately... He's running this country like a tyrant; micromanaging everything.

I believe we're going to come to regret this decision, but I really hope we don't.

Yeah, we're all going to die. Or so the Mayans said, the world would be ending in 2012.
