Ducklings. Oh, sorry xD I fear ducklings, I think facing them is what they say, I mean a week ago I was feircely afraid of heights, I went on a plane ride to Pennsilvania, had a crazy Austalian poilet, we did a free fall for about two minutes, Im alive, no more fear of heights.
(no offence to australlians)

Well, actually, the best way to get rid of fears is to just confront them. It could most likely be the most scary and painful moment of your life but it works. Especially if you continue to work at it. Like, start small and work your way up.
Example: Somebody's afraid of heights. Start with a step ladder and then slowly work yourself up to a twenty-story building.

Well, I'm no shrink, but with something like that, there's no real way to "face" it. I read occasionally of people breaking down what they're afraid of and putting it into small little logical "boxes" and that helps them deal with it. I don't know if that'll help you, the only thing I'm afraid of is wasps and that's because I really don't want another wart <.<(yes, a wasp gave me a wart!)

Yes, but yours was more direct and sudden. You got on a plane and overcame it by force, I was talking about babysteps.... I probably should have mentioned that, though. xD
I'm not sure how it did it either, but one minute my finger was fine, the next I was stung and from that moment on I've had a bloody wart. <.< It's annoying.

In childhood you can come over fears with proper guidance but for adults its really difficult
