This also would fit in the debate area but I noticed the serious discussions board was empty so I decided to put it here.
Anyways, do you think people can change? I mean, I like to think that I'm a different person than I used to be, because I don't really like who I used to be and I like the idea of liking me. Also, I know a couple people I can almost like if they just change from being "jerk" to "cool," you know? Actually... no, there's only one person I would really like to change, but that's a different discussion for another time. xD
But, I digress; I really hope people change, and I was just wondering what your thoughts on the subject were.

Of course.
A better question, in my humble opinion, would be can people change willingly?

Oh, absolutely. Just post people don't think they can change, and so they don't. I changed; I am a very different person than I was this time last year, and I know it.
Most people are actually willing to change, like I said, they just don't think they can. So, maybe the question should be, can people change their mindsets? Surely occasionally someone can, but, can people, in general, change the way they think? Admit that it actually is possible to change and strive to do so(if it so requires)?

Yes, depending on their mental structure.

Clyde, it's tolerable to be random in the general discussion board, but not in a serious discussion thread. If you can't think of anything mature to say don't say anything here. Okie-dokie? ^^
Back on subject; I haven't met many people who have actually believed themselves to be able to change. Especially among my generation.

Well, the diference is, Clyde, I believe some people know what's wrong with them and just don't believe they can, and aren't really willing to try and find out, prefering to be miserable. Unlike you who, so far it seems, doesn't really know what's wrong with them.
Really? Different types of changing, I just view it as change in general. What are the different types you see?

Instead of thinking of it as what's wrong with you, I'd just say what could make you better? Idk, I'm pretty happy with myself. I don't think I need to change a hell of a lot.
