Yeah, honestly I doubt they'd even want to go on the computer, it would just depress them. It depresses me sometimes to be online too much and I'm not a sad person generally.

I hate when people say that there are these specific emo bands and if you like bands that aren't on that list then you can't be a real emo. It drives me up the wall. It's like, okay, isn't the whole emo thing about non-conformity? Yet, if you like the band, say, Good Charlotte, it makes you a poser and then if you like, oh, Thursday, or something you're a real emo. I think it's the posers that make that stuff up...
I also hate when you get called a poser emo when you aren't even trying to be emo. Like a couple of years ago I went to see My Chem. with a friend of mine and then the next day at school I was wearing the shirt I got at the concert and I got called a poser even though I wasn't trying to act emo or anything. *growls*
And I hate when people say that emo people can be really happy and cheery and don't even have to be depressed at all to be emo. It's like, okay, then what sets them apart from posers? Obviously all that's left is that they're doing it because they think it looks cool and that's what posers do in your mind too so how is that different? I mean yeah, emo people don't have to be depressed all the time, but they should at least be a little depressed, that's what makes them emo. xD
*end rant*

I would say not necessarily depressed. I'm not, but then again I'm not totally emo... But even so, I think it's more like not being a normal person, preppy bitch, scene, or whatever... It's about having a real personality.

Um, there's a difference between emo and being a cool person... xD There's also a difference between dressing like an emo and being an emo. xD

I meant that you have a deep personality. It's a requirement for being emo, but doesn't make you emo.
