Though not all emos cut themselves, the people that do are generally considered emo.
Anyway, I don't cut... deep. Not deep enough to bleed much or cause serious or permenant damage. And I don't do it a lot.
But the thing is that makes me feel weird about it is that I don't do it because I have emotional pain or distress or whatever. I just do because I actually enjoy pain, to a reasonable extent.
Another word for that would be masochist.

but I dress emo.

Not quite sure.
I don't really argue when I'm called emo, though XP. Not anymore.

Scene would be the preppy type of emo; the kind that almost fits in with the cheerleader category. I wouldn't call that scene just because you don't cut, and it's good that you don't, really.

I'm a perfectly happy person! Like I said I don't do that out of emotional problems. =) I'm a music lover too.

Actually instead of cutting the other day I bit myself... because one of my friends said, "You won't be able to do it; you can't handle the pain" So I did it just to prove him wrong.
And I bit right through my skin, XD

Er, yeah, I'm not depressed or anything, but, like, two days ago I started cutting...
Masochism has something to do with it, but I don't know the real reason. Because I mean, it's not deep and it doesn't really hurt that much. I think it's just because I'm bored and I like to bleed more than be in pain. 0_o
I don't really look that emo but I sort of do, I mean I wear band shirts and Converse shoes (Converse shoes are so sexy *nose bleed* jk about the nose bleed thing... xD and if you don't understand that you need to research more about anime), but not tapered jeans or my hair like that and I don't wear any make up at all...

I don't wear makeup, but I got those awesome emo glasses... my hairs never out of my face... mainly wear black, jeans... eh that depends xD

I have some emo shirts, I wear converse and demonias. (Ink thinks my Demonias are cheeseball posers) but whatever... and I have black jeans. I wear eyeliner and I'm obsessed with music, and my hair has sidebangs.
I sound a lot more emo than I am.

I have nine cuts now *sigh*
Today I was bored and on the internet so I went on quizilla and took a bunch of quizes and over half of them said I was emo but I was thinking "okay, so you think I'm emo even though I'm taking a quiz to see if I am? I think a real emo wouldn't bother taking a crappy quiz like this" xD
