- What if the Oceanic Six were Seven instead?
- What if Charlie and Claire got married on the beach?
- What if Charlie never drowned?
- What if a hatch explosion took out some of the survivors and islanders?
- What if the helicopter taking the Oceanic Seven back crashed killing Frank and leaving the Oceanic Seven stranded?
When Charlie agreed to go to the underwater station to send the signal for the Oceanic Seven to get off the Island everybody assumed him to have drowned. Claire devastated at Charlie's death when she read his note and found his DriveShaft ring, agrees to leave the Island with the others. As Kate, Jack, Shannon, Sayid, Hurley, Sun, Desmond and Sawyer head onto the helicopter Claire runs on at the last minute with Aaron. The helicopter is only in the air for a couple of minutes when Frank realises they are losing fuel fast and have to drop some cargo.
They drop as much as they can, but it's no use, so Sawyer agrees to sacrifice his freedom and jump, with Sawyer giving Kate one final kiss goodbye. Just as he got back to the Island shore however, a hatch with unstable dynamite exploded causing shockwaves around the Island and the force broke a porthole in the underwater station allowing Charlie to be sucked out. It also caused the helicopter to crash and Sawyer looked on devastated thinking that the love of his life Kate is lost forever.
Charlie comes back to the beach unable to believe he actually survived considering Desmond had seen his death. His happiness doesn't last for long however when Sawyer tells him that Claire and Aaron were on the helicopter which just crashed. What the guys at the beach didn't see however was the seven left on the helicopter jumped to safety before it crashed and burned killing only the pilot.
They were all left stranded in the water until they were lucky enough to come across a boat. The boat was Penny's and she and Desmond are re-united. She takes them all including Seth Norris who was on the freighter back home.
Seven months pass for the Oceanic Seven who lie about the other survivors back on the Island in a bid to protect them. They all go about their lives assuming they will never have to return to the Island again. Jack goes back to medicine, he and Kate form a close friendship as he helps her get over the assumed death of Sawyer and he agrees to pretend that he's the father of her baby even though the father is Sawyer. Claire devastated at losing Charlie stops looking after herself and Aaron properly and she gets him taken away from her by authorities. They give Aaron to Jack to look after. With Jack not having the time to look after him, Kate agrees to become a mother figure to Aaron until Claire gets better. Desmond and Penny settle into a life they had always wanted. Sun loses herself in taking care of Ji Yeon, Hurley goes back to his parents, Shannon goes back to her wild ways and shopping and Sayid goes on some sort of spiritual adventure.
In the meantime things are going crazy on the Island as it starts shifting through time, causing the survivors and islanders to become ill. There is also a lot of unexplainable noises and wild boars and polar bears causing trouble for them all. After three months of chaos Ben leaves in search of the Oceanic Seven to bring them back assuming the only way the Island will heal is if they come back. He leaves Richard in charge of The Others.

Now Ben has tracked everybody down including Desmond, he takes them to an Eloise Hawking who is Daniel Faraday's mother, and she tells them they have to be on Ajira Flight 316 to Guam in order to get the right co-ordinates to get back to the Island. Everybody agrees to reluctantly by a ticket and return to the Island once they're told that their loved ones are still very much alive.
Unknown to Ben though, while off the Island searching to bring back those who left, the Island has been going through a time scale of it's own. Not only has the Island gone back in time, three years has passed for Sawyer, Juliet and the others and it's a whole new era as they have to merge themselves with the Dharma Initative, while it's only been seven months for the guys off the Island including Ben.
As the Seven step back on the Island will things ever be the same for them again? Will Charlie be happy to see Claire considering she isn't in a good place right now? Will Sawyer welcome Kate back with open arms, or will he have found love elsewhere? And what about the baby Kate is carrying? Will she tell Sawyer its his baby, or will she and Jack continue to pretend the baby is his instead? Even if Kate does tell him, will he believe her, seeing as far as he's concerned he hasn't seen her for three years? Will Jack be happy to find out that Locke has taken leadership over the Survivors? Will Ben be happy to be faced with Charles Widmore on the Island again?
Only you can decide as their fates lie in your hands and go Back To The Island.
