Okay, so I decided to write the poem now, instead of going through my previous poetry and editing one.

I didn't know which title I should use so I used the both.

Without A Trace/Was it Worth It

Wanting a friend, wanting more
Abyss flowed, pulling me from shore
Searching for dreams, finding tears
My aching heart did last through years
What did I gain from my strength, my will?
What could I gain from being carefully chilled?
Dreams and wishes? Lost hope, broken hearts?
Were these the things I set to win from the start?

You called me not too long ago
I could hear your smile through the phone
My long lost love that I never won
Always afraid of love, so I did run
Away from things that could bring me joy
Because I knew, they could also destroy
But was it worth it, deciding not to
Tell you how much I did love you

What’s done is done, I told myself again
I cannot go back and change my end
And even though, I still dream of you
I cannot go back, though I do wish to
So, I turned myself cold, once more
Telling me I was strong like before
E’en though, my “strength” did break me
Leaving me these tears of my misery

So once more, I do ask aloud
Is it worth it, being proud?
Is it worth all the tears and pain
To be strong, e’en if it be in vain
I do not believe that I chose right
When I said I would love neigh
As tears do soak my pillow face
I’m disappearing without a trace

The poem'd have to be edited to be able to be sung without sounding retarded though... I'd probably transform the second verse into the chorus, it sounds like it'd be a pretty good chorus...

Now I'm going to end up rewriting it as a song, lol.

And hey, at least you can play the guitar. I've been trying to get somebody to teach me since I was a kid. I have a hard time multi-tasking(doing to differen things with my hands... LIke playing the guitar) so I can't teach myself... <.<
