Yeah, been there, felt that. It sucks.
It used to be really hard, actually, becuase he's like a brother to me. But, I've never regretted not telling him. Strangely enough.

I guess it just depends on the person. I've never felt awkward around him, that's actually one of the reasons I fell for him. I guess, either you say what's on your mind or swallow it and get used to it, I did the latter and I haven't really regretted it much... I love him too much as a brother/friend to.
I wish you luck with whichever choice you make/already made.
